AWANA
Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry with fully-integrated evangelism and long-term discipleship programs for ages 2 to 18 that actively involve parents and church leaders.
Awana exists to:
Reach Kids - Building lasting faith foundations for children and youth
Equip Leaders - Preparing them to lead with proven resources
Change the World - Making a global impact, one disciple at a time
Awana club meetings are designed to prioritize positive relationships and personal comprehension of the material learned. At GBC Lancaster, we offer Awana clubs for preschoolers through 6th grade students. Many of our Awana alumni come back as helpers with the younger clubs and grow into other leadership roles through their experience.

This is our group of 3rd through 6th graders that meet once a month to fellowship and study God’s Word together with the goal of building strong friendships built around their love for Jesus Christ and each other.
VBS
Our Vacation Bible School program is focused on providing Biblical instruction and evangelistic outreach during one week each summer. Our goal is to disciple children who already know the Lord through sound Biblical instruction and reach those in our community who may not know Jesus by giving a clear presentation of who Jesus is and how you can accept Him.
Other opportunities throughout the year are an Easter egg hunt and celebration, Mission’s Month and various parenting seminars and training opportunities.
We also meet the 3rd Sunday of each month in room 147 to pray for all our family ministries. Please feel free to join us.
