Barbara Van Valkenburg

As a Missionary I have been involved with teaching Bible Clubs in churches community centers, also in schools holding assemblies, lunch time clubs and after school clubs for the past 35 years. In the summers we hold camps and Holiday Clubs ( VBS ) around the area. I have also been involved with training around the UK through puppets workshops, Instep with the Master Teacher, and Sharing Christ with Kids. We also run a preschool here at the Bible Club centre which I am also involved with.

We have just finished a year long training course of Instep with the Master Teacher. It was a joy to see the people take what we have been teaching and they are putting it into practice in their own churches and clubs. Two of the young people grew up in Bible Clubs which I have held. It is a joy to see how they are going on with the Lord and involved in their own churches in the area. Another of our young people has just finished his first year at Bible College.

1. That more people will see the need to going into the schools with the gospel. We have an open door and not enough people to take up the opportunities.
2. That we have openings in different areas of the UK for training.
